Helmut Haller

World Cup final goalscorer 1966, superstar in Bologna and Milan — Augsburg's greatest son.

Haller played for Germany from 1958 to 1970, earning 33 caps with 13 goals. At AC Milan, even Giovanni Trapattoni could not contain him. In Bologna and Milan, he turned Italians into Germany fans — two decades after the war.
